SHIPPING YOUR FRAME/PARTS TO BLACK MAGIC FOR CUSTOM PAINT WORK

Black Magic Paint is proud to partner with BikeFlights shipping service. While you can send your frame to Black Magic with any shipping service you choose, we recommend BikeFlights for their economical options to ship with expertise and care from anywhere in the world.

PREPARING YOUR BIKE FOR SHIPMENT

  • Remove ALL small parts and ship only the frame/parts that we are painting or have specifically requested you to send in. No need to ship the entire bike or all the small parts. We can remove parts for you as needed, but this may incur an additional labor charge in addition to any paint work.

  • Clean your frame/parts before shipping. Make sure parts are as clean as possible to avoid additional prep costs.

  • Pack your frame/parts carefully or have your local bike shop do it, so it will arrive without additional damage.

TO BOOK YOUR SHIPMENT

  • BikeFlights has a created a convenient shipping page that is pre-populated with Black Magic Paint’s address. Simply click the drop down arrow next to the Ship To field on their form and select Black Magic Paint. Please make sure to cover the package with a level of Premium Protection that will cover the value of the contents in the event of complete loss or damage. Black Magic Paint is not responsible for shipping services provided by Bikeflights. PLEASE DO NOT USE PEANUTS TO PACK YOUR FRAME/PARTS!

RETURN SHIPPING

  • When you receive you final invoice from Black Magic, please repeat the booking process using the pre-populated "Ship From" address on the BikeFlights page. If your original packaging is no longer safe to re-use, we will provide dimensions for replacement packaging if available. Please make sure to cover the package with a higher level of Premium Protection that will cover the market value of the contents and the cost of the paint work, services and anything else purchased from Black Magic in the event of complete loss or damage. Black Magic Paint is not responsible for shipping services provided by Bikeflights.

  • Forward the shipping label to info@blackmagicpaint.com for us and we will carefully package your frame/parts.

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping costs to/from Black Magic Paint, regardless if work is performed. Black Magic may charge for packaging items that are not worked on to prepare them for return shipment at the expense of the frame/parts owner. Parts will not be released until payment for packaging has been made.

  • For local customers dropping off/picking up, please call or email ahead to make an appointment during regular business hours.

WEB STORE SHIPPING

  • Website order shipments will be paid for during checkout and arranged by Black Magic once your order has been placed. If your location is not available as an option, please contact us to discuss options. We will reach out of there are any changes we need to accommodate your order.
